Our Mission;

Our aim is to facilitate the application of modern and scientific methods in the processing, preservation, and distribution of food in a way that minimizes loss of quality and quantity.

Our responsibilities include developing all theoretical and practical applications of the food industry’s food chain, from raw materials to the consumer, and thus transferring the knowledge gained to the state and the sector through our students.

Our Vision;

Our main goal is to leverage our locational advantage to ensure our contribution benefits every area reached by food; to this end, we aim to train skilled food engineers for the food industry by providing our students with the best quality education, thus benefiting our nation; and to make Afyon Kocatepe University’s Food Engineering Department one of the most prestigious and preferred schools in Turkiye.
